Mid Week Haul

So this week i've spent a fair bit of money online shopping and on the highstreet, so I though i'd share my purchases here with you!

Firstly on my shopping haul is two Yankee Candles. I picked up Lake Sunset & Fireside Treats. As you can see from the photos i've only burned Lake Sunset so far, but even without burning I can smell how amazing Fireside Treats is - hence why i'm saving that one to burn second!
I am burning them both in my bedroom, but they are both lovely scents for the whole home. Fireside Treats is super sweet & Lake Sunset is very fresh.

Next up I made a tiny MAC order, of my Primer & MAC's Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy.

I was due a long awaited eye test and I finally got round to it. I replaced my black Ted Baker Glasses, for a brown pair of Michael Kors. I am loving them and I find brown goes with so much more than my black pair! However, annoyingly Michael Kors have stopped provided a case for their glasses (ridiculous when they cost so much!) so I was given this gorgeous one by Dolce & Gabbana.

From Toyshop I brought a grey cropped jumper, a grey tunic and this classic denim skirt. I love the collars on both these jumpers as I think they are very warm and stylish at the moment! They look great with any coat or jacket. I have had my eye on this skirt forever, and finally took the plunge! I think its a nice alternative to jeans and very flattering.

Again from Toyshop I also picked up this over sized denim shirt. (as you can tell I was wearing it when I took these photos!)  This is a petite size 4, so as you can tell it's super oversized! I love the look of this, especially with a gold necklace.

I love a good smelling room, hence the amount candles I buy! So I was excited to try out the new Zoella Reed Diffuser. Its super strong, but not in a sickly way. I think this is definitely going to be my new bedroom scent!

A shopping trip wouldn't be right without a trip to LUSH. Especially now their christmas pieces are in! I picked up only a few things i've never had before. I brought 'Pop in the Bath', 'Butterbear' & 'Candy Mountain'. I cannot wait to try these beauties out!

LUSH also gave me two freebies! *yay*, as this never happens to me! They gave me 'Serendipity Soap' & 'Coal Face'. Both which can be used on the face & body. I'm also super excited to try these ones out as i've never used any face products from LUSH!

I brought the Superdrug Limited Edition Vanilla Fudge Mask this week. MY GOD. The smell of this is incredible, absolutely to die for! It's self heating which is super relaxing. I also find you get 2 uses out of this, which makes it a bargain at 99p.

Lastly I brought 2 new make up brushes this week. Both Real Techniques, I brought the Face Sculpt and the Setting brush.
I absolutely love the colour of these brushes. I really trust Real Techniques, and have many of their brushes. I plan on using the Face Sculpt for my foundation & the Setting for setting my concealer under my eyes.

Shopping Haul

Welcome back, and to my first ever haul video!
For the first time ever on my shopping trip I didn't buy any beauty related items! This is a mixture of clothing and a few other little goodies..

So the first place I went to was Primark. Now I went to Primark with the incentive to buy pyjamas. Now I'm really not one to shop in Primark, I can never find any clothes at all, and to be honest, I cannot stand looking in there with the hundreds of people. However, I think their pyjamas are amazing value, and super soft and cozy.
I picked up a navy flowery pair which sinch in at the bottom (as you can tell I put them on as soon as I was home - before I even had time to take a photo!) a grey pair with a super cute pattern, a short checked pair, and a simple grey vest. I'm on the hunt to find plain tops to wear with the other 2.
I also picked up 2 candles, which were AMAZING value at £2, and smell incredible. They had hundreds at amazing prices and all smelled lovely, I'll let you know if the smell pays off when they burn.

Next I went to Jack Wills, which I haven't been to in years! I picked up this super soft cosy hoody, and an umbrella with anchors. The umbrella really caught my eye as it has a really sturdy handle and I knew it would be good quality!

The Body Shop was the next on my visit and what a bargain I got! I picked up all of this for under £10! The set includes raspberry shower gel, scrub and butter, shower scrub, and I also picked up a new muslin face cloth. The set was an INSANE £12.60 (bare in mind the body butter alone is £14..) and as this was an outlet store I got an extra 40% off. So thrilled with my find!

Next I went to Lush, which I love. I resisted and only picked up 3 items, I got the Experimenter, Intergalactic, & the Comforter which is my most favourite Lush product ever, as you get so many uses out of it, which makes it amazing value.

Lastly, Topshop. I picked up this gorgeous white shirt with a jumper over it, in a Petite size 4, for £49, a new leather jacket in a size 6, for £55, and this amazing grey coat in a Petite size 4, for £59. I've wanted a coat like this grey one for ages and finally found one the perfect fit and colour!

And thats the end of my shopping haul. I hope you enjoyed, and i'm sure a few will be included in this months favourites!

August Favourites.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while - i've been super unwell! :(
Anyways, for my come back post i'm going to do my August Favourites! Although not technically the end of August yet, I go on holiday next week so this post is a little early!

The first on my favourites is this gorgeous bag from Topshop.
I brought this mainly for when I return to Uni in September, as I like something stylish, practical, and something that I can fit my MacBook or iPad and a writing pad in, as well as all my handbag essentials.
Although I feel my MacBook may be a push, it is the perfect size for a large note pad and iPad, and all of my other bits and pieces. It also fits in a lunch box comfortably. I love the style, as it also comes with a long strap.

The next up is an eyeshadow palette by the well loved blogger Tanya Burr.
I absolutely love eyeshadows, and without sounding snobby, have always believed high end such as MAC, Urban Decay & Bobbi Brown are a hell of a lot better than drugstore, in fact I do not own a single drugstore eyeshadow single or palette. Until now!
After seeing Tanya had brought out eyeshadow and eye brow palettes I was desperate to try them, even though I have never tried her other products!
I chose the 'HollyWood' palette as I love golds & browns as they really flatter my eyes. This palette was a BARGAIN at £6, along with my student discount too!
The colours are very very well pigmented and they colours have been chosen very well to compliment one and other.

Next is an old re-found product I forgot I had!
Victoria Secret Perfume in Bombshell.
I absolutely LOVE this scent, it's super lovely and is like no other scent I have ever smelt. It isn't fruity like the majority of my favourite scents like Chanel, but I always get compliments when wearing it! I also like the fact it isn't available to buy in stores such as boots, as I always feel individual and that no one else is wearing it!
(They probably are, but I like to feel special!)

Another bloggers product.. Zoella's (Zoe Sugg's) Candy Cream Softening Body Lotion.
This is from Zoella's new range, in the scent tutti fruity. However, when I saw reviews on this I thought it was going to be super strong smelling, and super sweet. However it is not, its s very subtle, fresh fruity scent and not sickly at all.
It consists of Acai and Blueberries for skin benefits, which they really are! My skin feels super soft after, and with my dry skin, it really does soften.
The lotion has bursting beads which you expect to be exfoliating, but intact they burst into super soft moisturising goodness. Although, this 'lotion' is super thick, very similar to a Body Shop body butter, only a very small amount is needed or it'll take you forever to rub it in!

Lastly is something I believe i've mentioned before. CND's Solar Oil. I absolutely love this to ensure my CND Shellac lasts as long as possible. I apply it every evening before bed all over my nails & nail bed and rub in it.
It smells like almonds, which is a scent I love and really does ensure my nails are in good condition & takes care of my shellac manicure.

What have you been loving this month?
