MAC Tag

I've been looking back through some old blog posts on my previous blog & found the 'MAC Tag'. I read through it and now that my make up collection has grown a hell of a lot, I thought it would be fun to do an updated version!
Have a go yourself and see how much you love your MAC products!

How long have you been using Mac?
About 2-3 years.
What was your first Mac product?
I brought a 'base' first. I brought Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (still using), Studio Fix Powder, Select Cover-Up Concealer, Pressed Powder, and a powder brush in 182.
What's your all time favourite Mac product?
I can't choose between Studio Fix Fluid, Studio Fix Powder & Pro - Longwear Concealer. I use them all every single day.
What's your least favourite Mac product?
Their mascaras, I don't rate them at all.
Do you own a Pro Card?
No, how do you even get one?!
Your Mac foundation shade:
NC15 (when pale), NC20 or NW15 (when tanned, or fake tanned!)
Your favourite Mac-Foundation:
Studio Fix Fluid.
Eyeshadow:
Paint Pot in Painterly, if a paint pot can class as an eyeshadow?
Lipstick:
HoneyLove is AMAZING.
Lipgloss:
Cremesheen (cannot remember the name!).
Liner:
Spice.
Brush:
I have 282 which is a Kabuki style powder brush.
Nail Lacquer:
Never used, I have Shellac Manicures.
Pro Product:
Pro Longwear Concealer.

Comment on the following Mac product; Have you used them? If so, give feedback.

Prep + Prime Skin:
Yes, I use the Prep + Prime Transparent powder at the moment as i'm tanned, and its very good. I highly recommend.
I also have Prep + Prime Fix+. Which I like, but don't love. Full Coverage Foundation:
Never used.
Studio Sculpt Foundation:
The colour match was better for me, but cannot stand the formula. Looks brilliant when you put it on, but you cannot scratch, touch your face, or move without it moving or coming away. Pretty cakey too.
Face + Body Foundation:
Never used.
Mineralize Satin Finish:
Never used.
Studio Fix Fluid:
Absolutely holy grail. Does not move all day, is also super build able. LOVE.
Hyper Real Foundation:
Never used.
Select SPF15 Foundation:
Never used.
Studio Tech Foundation:
Never used.
Studio Fix Powder:
As said already, holy grail!
Studio Stick:
Never used.
Hyper Real Pressed Foundation:
Never used.

Beauty Powder:
Never used.
Sculpting Powder:
Never used.
Shaping Powder:
Again never tried.
Loose Blot Powder:
Not used!
Pressed Blot Powder:
Nope!
Mineralize Skinfinish Natural:
Haven't used, but want to try 'medium tan', once my hoola from benefit has run out.
Mineralize Skinfinsh:
Soft & Gentle is a beautiful really shimmery highlight for any skin tone.
ATM I have been loving Lighscapade which is more subtle, but absolutely stunning which I'd recommend to anyone.Bronzing Powder:
I have re-purchased Golden a few times, lovely on the cheek bones, but do not make the mistake of using anywhere else on the face as it has glitter like flecks in, which make you look all glittery & very un-natural!
Powder Blush:
I have a few, but my most favourite is 'Blush All Day'/
Blushcreme:
Never tried as don't like the idea of creme products on top of powder.
Mineralize Blush:
Not used.
Gel Blush:
Nope.
Cream Color Base:
Never tried.
Studio Sculpt Concealer:
Would never stray from my trusty Pro Longwear Concealer.
Select Cover Up Concealer:
It is very good, not as good as Pro-Longwear, but good for lighter coverage.
Select Moisture cover Concealer:
Never used.
Studio Finish Concealer:
Lovely on blemishes as is super thick. Can be cakey if not applied correctly!
Studio Stick:
Never used.
Lip Erase:
Never used.
Tinted Lip Conditioner:
Never tried.
Lipstick:
Love all the ones I have. HoneyLove & Hue are my all time favourites.
Lipglass:
A little to thick.
See Thru Lip Color:
Never heard of them.
Dazzleglass:
Never tried.

Cremesheen Glass:
My favourite type of MAC lipgloss, not as sticky!
Lip Gelee:
Never heard of it.
Lip Pencil:
Spice is lovely, blends well and goes with any nude shades, or blends well when worn on its own.

Solar Bits:
Never used.
Nail Lacquer:
Never used.
Shadestick:
Never used.
Paint:
Never used.
Paint Pots:
I only have Painterly and its a lovely base, or worn alone. Super creamy and not drying.
Eye Shadow:
I have a quad palet, which I created myself with colours I like. They are very good with little fall out. My favourite is Gleam at the moment.
Pigment:
I have Vanilla and Naked. Both look lovely on the eyes, or I have also used as a highlight which works well.
Glitter:
Never used.
Eye Kohl:
I have black, which is fine, but doesn't last!
Chromaline:
Never used.Fluidline:
Never used.
Liquid Last Liner:
Never used.
Lustre Drops:
Never used.
False Lashes:
Haven't tried, I love Eyelure.
ProLash Mascara,Zoom Lash Mascara,Plush Lash Mascara, Dazzle Lash Mascara:
I have Dazzle & Pro Lash, don't go much on either of them! MAC, sort out your mascaras please!
What has been your favourite Mac collection to date?

Which Mac collection, in your opinion, do you think was disappointing, if any?

Hello Kitty, who does that?±

July Favourites.

The first of this months favourites is taken from my previous MAC post. MACs Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade. Pop over to that post to read more about it! :)

The next one is a new make up brush I purchased to use with the new highlighting powder just mentioned! For my highlighter I use a Crown Contour Brush as mentioned before. However as I now have 2 highlighters to go between during the week I didn't want to have to wash the brush each time I used a different one.
I picked up this one by Seventeen from boots for a BARGAIN £2.99! I'm pretty sure no brush in my collection is as cheap as this & I brought it totally on a whim. I thought for that price, it isn't going to be excellent. If I'm honest, the only reason I brought it was because the Real Techniques Setting Brush I had my eye on to use with this product was out of stock. Now i'm so glad it was, saving myself a good few £££!
Its super super soft & excellent quality. Maybe as good as my real techniques, and is definitely better than a few MAC ones I own!
I also love the cute packaging and love the colours and writing on the brush! Really recommend. I may have to purchase other brushes from this collection.

I'm a big Body Shop & Handcream fan. So put the 2 together, and The Body Shops hand creams are amazing. I love their packaging as it makes it super easy to ensure you get every last bit of product! I've gotten through 4 already, and have these left in my collection to get through & probably purchase more!
They are super non-greasy and soak into the hands within seconds leaving no residue. They also smell incredible! They are the perfect size for any handbag & also fit into my apron at work.

The next is something I was sent free from Feel Unique. This is the REDKEN Diamond Oil. I've been loving the traditional and well loved by many Moroccan Oil. I've been using REDKEN shampoo and condition for a good few years now, so as I was sent this I thought I may as well give it a go!
The bottle is so heavy and so glamourous. Its very good quality packaging and is all glass. The product itself doesn't smell as nice as Moroccan Oil, in fact it has little smell at all. I apply around 4-5 drops in the end of my hair before blowdrying and it keeps my hair super soft and shiny.

Lastly is a moisturiser. This is the Nivea Firming Body Moisturiser. Its very rich and leaves my skin feeling very soft. It absorbs quickly which is good for any moisturiser as I hate feeling sticky and wet.
It is a firming moisturiser which is the reason I brought it before a recent holiday. It really did make my skin feel firmer and tighter within the 2 weeks which it claims to do. I've been using an after sun lately as i've been on holiday & i've defiantly noticed a difference since I stopped using this and I can't wait to start using it again.
